Wczoraj oglądałam całkiem ciekawy film "The Joneses".
"The Joneses", jest swego rodzaju komentarzem o społeczeństwie konsumpcyjnym. Idealna para Steve (David Duchovny) i Kate (Demi Moore) Jones oraz ich wspaniałe nastoletnie dzieci: Jenn (Amber Heard) i Mick (Ben Hollingsworth) są przedmiotem zazdrości klasy wyższych sfer, drobnomieszczańskiego sąsiedztwa, w tym rodziny McMansions. Kate jest dyktatorem mody - piękna, seksowna, i ubrana z góry do dołu w markowe ciuchy. Steve jest podziwianym biznesmenem, który posiada wszystko: piękną żonę, wielki dom i niekończące się zapasy zaawansowanych technicznie zabawek. Jenn i Mick rządzą swoją nową szkołą będąc jednocześnie ucieleśnieniem wszystkiego co jest popularne i trendy - super ubrania, szybkie samochody i inne gadżety. Wszyscy sąsiedzi dotrzymują im kroku, ale żaden z nich nie jest gotowy na prawdę o tej idealnej rodzinie.
A prawda jest zupełnie inna. Nie są rodziną, lecz zespołem sprzedażowym. Ich zadaniem jest wzbudzić zazdrość i pożądanie wśród sąsiedztwa, które natychmiast zapragnie wszystkiego co posiadają, co ostatecznie doprowadzi do tragedii. Nic więcej nie zdradzę, obejrzyjcie sami. Polecam...

Yesterday I have seen a good movie "The Joneses".
"The Joneses", a social commentary on our consumerist society. Perfect couple Steve and Kate Jones, and their gorgeous teen-aged children Jenn and Mick, are the envy of their posh, suburban neighborhood filled with McMansions and all the trappings of the upper middle class. Kate is the ultimate trend setter - beautiful, sexy, dressed head-to-toe in designer labels. Steve is the admired successful businessman who has it all: a gorgeous wife, big house and an endless supply of high-tech toys. Jenn and Mick rule their new school as they embody all that is hip and trendy - cool clothes, fast cars and the latest gadgets. But as the neighbors try to keep up with the Joneses, none are prepared for the truth about this all- too perfect family.

But truth is completely different. They are not a family but sales team. Their task is to play with emotions of their neighbours and made them desire everything that they own, which in consequence leads to a tragedy.
